XG605W is a kind of matting agent based on wax and mercaptobenzothiazole. It can be applied in TGIC and Hybrid systems

■ Application
1. In the process of powder coating, XG605W is incorporated into the formulation. Then extruded. Gloss range can be varied from 60~30%by the formulation of the amounts of matting agent. The degree of gloss is connected with the polyester resin used.
2. The flowing and impact properties are not affected by the addition of matting agents. When XG605W is applied
in the weather durabilitycoating, the film still has very good outdoor durability.
3. The amount of XG605W in the formulation is about 5~8% at based on the resin. The detail should be tested in the lab.
4. Lower gloss can be obtainable with some kinds of fillers, but the combination of fillers and matting agent may get best results.
5. Extruding temperature: 115~120℃
6. Baking condition: 200℃/12min or 190℃/15min
