Alsibronz 39
■ PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Engelhard Alsibronz 39 muscovite mica is a medium particle-size, chemically inert, potassium aluminum silicate platelet. This water washed mica has a very high aspect ratio, exceptional surface smoothness and high whiteness. These characteristics result I an extremely high quality mica for a wide variety of industrial applications
■ APPLICATION INFORMATION
Alsibronz 39 is the most widely used Engelhard industrial mica. It has applications in interior and exterior coatings, primers, wood preservatives, plastics and other barrier applications. Alisibronz micas exhibit excellent barrier properties, improved flatting and sheen uniformity, improved durability, washability and weather resistance, and increased film toughness and flexibility. The high level of stain resistance and barrier properties contributes to their effectiveness in anticorrosive primers and topcoats. In plastics, Alsibronz 39 offers high flex modulus and heat distortion temperature. In silicone lubricants for tire manufacturing it provides excellent slip and mold release properties.
